Does the moon move in water according to the Vedas?
In the previous article, we had refuted the allegation of the "Veda Ka Bheda" website that in the Vedas the Sun rises in the ocean. Similarly, 'Veda Ka Bheda' website has also alleged that according to the Vedas, the moon moves in water. We will review this objection in this article.
It cast aspersions on the mantras of Rigveda (1/105/1), Atharvaveda (18/4/89) and Yajurveda (33/90).
Rigveda(1/105/1) Acharya Sayana Commentry
Answer : First of all, Acharya Sayan in this mantra has not taken the meaning of "Apsu" from any liquid water, here he has used its meaning in the context of space because even in space we find water molecules, hence in the form of surface of water molecules Space has been described here and the moon moves in the middle of the space, this is its true meaning.

Atharvaveda (18/4/89) Translated by Sri Ram Sharma Acharya

Similarly, Acharya Shri Ram Sharma has also taken the meaning of Apsu Antah that the upper part of the earth's atmosphere which of the water vapor which is prevalent that's ending place i.e. space.

Does the moon have its own light as per the Vedas?

Now let us see the translations of the Veda mantras given by this fool.
Atharvaveda (18/1/35)

In this mantra, it is said that the Sun gives light during the day and the Moon gives light during the night, but it is not written anywhere that the Moon has its own light.

Now see what has been told in the Vedas about the light we get from the moon at night.
Samveda(2/4/3)

This same mantra of Samveda also appears in Rigveda (1/84/15) and Atharvaveda (20/41/3). It is clearly written in it that the moon gets illuminated only by the light of the sun. That is, the light that the moon spreads is not its own light according to the Vedas. Its explanation is also in Nirukta (4/25).

Yajurveda(18/40)
The same is written in this mantra of Yajurveda. Its explanation is also given in Shatapatha Brahmana (9/4/1/9) and Nirukta (2/6).

Kaushitaki upanishad(2/8)

Not only this, it is also written in Kaushitaki Upanishad that the moon is visible only from the rays of the sun.
Shatpath Brahman (10/6/2/11)

Similarly, it is also written in Shatpath that the moon shines from the sun.

How does rain occur according to the Vedas?
Ved Ka Bhed website has made this objection on Yajurveda (3/49) and Yajurveda (2/16) in which it is written that Yajna causes rain.

Yajurveda(3/49)
Yajurveda (2/16)
While in reality in both these mantras, it is not written that the Yagya causes rain, it is written here that due to the Yagya and the offerings of herbs etc., there is purity in the atmosphere and pure rain water is generated from it.
As we know that the gases etc. that go into the atmosphere are also found in the rain water in the sky, hence if the atmosphere is purified by the use of scents of herbs etc. through Yagya, then one can get the benefit of pure rain.

Now see how rain occurs according to the Vedas.
Atharvaveda (4/15/5)
According to this mantra of Atharvaveda, through the winds and heat of the Sun, the waters of sea etc turns into vapor and goes up in the form of clouds and from there again returns to the earth in the form of rain water.

It seems that the nonsense writers of the website 'Ved ka bhed' did not study the Vedas properly 😂😂 and that is why they make wild allegations without knowing all this.
Rigveda (1/164/46) &  Atharvaveda (6/22/1)

Similarly, see further, it is also mentioned in Rigveda (1/164/47), Atharvaveda (6/22/1) that how the water of the earth goes to the sky through the rays of the sun and it causes rain.
Rigveda(1/164/51)
It is also written in this mantra of Rigveda that there is only one type of water which goes up into the sky in summer and comes down on earth during the rainy season.

This idiot has also attacked Bhagwat Geeta (3/14) that it is written in it that Yagya causes rain. Whereas in reality in that verse only good deeds have been called Yagya "यज्ञः कर्म-समुद्भवः"- (Bhagwat Geeta 3/14) i.e., good deeds done towards nature lead to pure rain, this is its meaning.
Bhagwat Gita (9/18)
It is clearly written in Bhagwat Geeta 9/18 that how the Sun causes rain but it is not visible to the illiterate and make further useless allegations.

Conclusion:See, those whose own houses are made of sand should not throw stones at others' houses.First these Islamic people should look into their own pockets and see how much childish things are filled in them and then raise questions on our Vedic Dharma.
